WHAT IS A Lemon + Honey CERTIFIED SPECIALIST?

A skin care professional who becomes Lemon + Honey Certified is someone who has been trained by L+H and passed a thorough examination. Not only have they completed the 100 hours of intense theory education course but also they have completed 40 hours of addition hands on training. This education doesn't stop there as a Lemon + Honey Certified Specialist you are also committing to a minimum of 2 continued educational coursed monthly. Only when they become certified will Lemon + Honey allow a licensed professional to work on and treat our clients. The Lemon + Honey Acne Specialist then also has the support from the team at Lemon + Honey Day Spa when they come across a particularly difficult or unusual case of acne or similar skin condition.

• give you recommendations for the products and treatments you will need to get clear

• go over aggravating factors that make you break out – foods, medications, cosmetics, stress, etc.

• give you a FREE packet of information that has everything that we tell you in the consultation

Acne Plan:

Advanced Acne with LED 90 MINUTES / $139

Expect to pay about $150 for your first set of acne products at your first appointment. We do not offer Advanced treatments or extractions to clients that do not use our home care products.

What to expect:

We will want to see you every two weeks for an acne treatment. It typically takes about six to eight services over a 3 to 4-month period of time to get you mostly to completely clear. Your Acne Specialist will:

• assess what type of treatment your skin needs when you come in. They will also assess how your home care regimen will be adjusted so that your skin does not over-adapt and stop responding.

• perform an acne treatment with extractions.

• perform blue Led Service

LED blue light therapy helps to kill the acne causing bacteria, reduce inflammation and provide a general rejuvenation effect on the skin. Usually, in the case of inflamed acne, topical products will bring down inflammation rather quickly. However, there are times when the skin needs a little more help in bringing down inflammation. This is where LED can help.

The combination of blue, red and infrared lights in our Celluma panels get down to the core of the acne causing bacteria. The red lights help to reduce inflammation while at the same time, the blue lights help to kill the acne causing bacteria.

This phenomenal add on will enhance your current acne treatment, and help to soothe the skin after receiving extractions.

After your acne is under control, you will simply need to maintain your home care products to keep clear.

Acne Peel 45 MINUTES / $150

Acne peels reduce scaring, post inflammation Hyper pigmentation and smooth skin texture. Usually, in the case of inflamed acne, topical products will bring down inflammation rather quickly. However, there are times when the skin needs a little more help in bringing down inflammation. This is where a peel can help. We work on balanced skin to target the over inflamed breakouts or even texture of closed comedones.

Body Acne Treatments 

Acne on the body is assessed the same way as on the face.  We still test the skin for sensitivity and tolerance to products.  Often, the back needs stronger products because the skin is thicker and less sensitive than on the face.
